Set up in 2005, with the aim of raising the profile of rural issues and to support business development and sustainability across rural South West, The DR Company is proud to provide a team who do just that. Our experts can provide impartial and trusted advice with all aspects of funding and business planning, alongside a range of other services.
Linda has been a consultant for The DR Company since 2016, supporting many community groups develop viable project plans and access funding.
Linda is passionate about information and is an expert in undertaking research, consultation and surveys to underpin project plans. She also knows that the relationship with a funder doesn’t end with the grant being awarded, and has expertise in developing the right monitoring and evaluation plans to make reporting to funders as painless as possible. In her spare time she is a charity trustee for an organisation supporting voluntary, community and public sector organisations to find volunteers, as well as a trustee for a village hall. She has a Masters in Information and Knowledge Management, and qualifications in Project Management, Education and Training and Volunteer Management.
Ann is the lynchpin of our office, ensuring that all of our administration services run smoothly. She also provides support to funding programmes and other projects.
Jez has 20 years experience in the forestry and timber sectors and works for The DR Company as our forestry and timber consultant. He has expertise in forestry, supply chain development and timber product innovation. Jez also undertakes bid writing & appraisals, sector wide policy development and landscape level woodland assessment. Jez’s work for The DR Company has been focussed on helping forest focussed funding applications; developing woodland policies for the South West of England and researching projects to enhance the woodland economy of the region.
Christine is an Accredited Facilitator offering independent, confidential solutions to family succession planning.
With over 31 years of experience in the agricultural industry, Christine is equipped with the skills to assist you with business analysis and planning, grant funding and succession planning.
Alongside her professional experience, Christine was pivotal in developing her family farm on Dartmoor, where they have successfully diversified into Christmas turkeys.
